Getting Around...The layout, with "topic" buttons along the left of the screen and "subject" menus opening below them, was designed to give you a feeling of how big the guide is, where you're at in it, and quick access to any other section. To navigate, click on one of the "topic" buttons. Let's say you like sports -- click on the "Sports" link to go to the top of the sports section. The sports button will light up and the background highlight will change to yellow for the sports pages. Each topic will have a different menu of "subject" buttons. Perhaps you like football -- click on the "Football" link to the left of the sports page. ZOOM! You're on the football page where you might find local football news as well as national or international links to football websites. Getting tired of football? Those links are still to the left side of the page where you can get to them quick- quick- quick! You can go back to the top sports page, try a different sports subject, or move on to something else entirely.
Please Pass the FramesIt would have been much easier to create this site using frames in the browser window, but a real pain for you. This layout provides more visual cues than a framed layout could have... and each page is linkable, bookmarkable and printable as you see it. |
